We collect what the alerts need — not your cinema life.

Information we use

We store your email address and, when connected, Telegram chat identifier and optional Telegram profile name. We also store watch preferences, subscription status, delivery history, support messages and service security logs. Passwordless sign-in links and codes are short-lived and stored only as hashes.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Ticket Sniper stores provider customer and subscription references but does not receive or store full card details.

City launch interest

If you open Telegram from a city launch page, we store that city and campaign source with your Telegram service profile and first-party analytics event. We use it to measure launch demand and contact you in Telegram if that city launches. We do not create a separate email list, and registering interest does not start a paid subscription.

Availability research

We retain aggregated cinema availability observations to measure how often seats and showtimes appear. Public reporting is aggregated and does not identify individual subscribers.

Service analytics

We record a limited first-party history of important service actions, such as opening Telegram, starting the bot, reviewing a watch, seeing the activation screen, starting or completing checkout, creating a watch and receiving an alert. These records use our internal user identifier, campaign source and non-sensitive watch attributes. They do not contain account-link tokens, Telegram message contents or payment details, and deleting your Ticket Sniper profile deletes these records.

Website analytics

If you accept analytics, we use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand page visits, referring sites and campaign links, approximate location, device type and actions such as opening Telegram or starting checkout. PostHog uses a random browser identifier which is joined to our internal account identifier after sign-in; we do not send your email address. We keep Google advertising storage and personalisation disabled, and we do not send Telegram identities, account-link tokens or payment details to Google. After a completed payment, we send a pseudonymous Stripe Checkout identifier as the transaction ID so duplicate purchases are not counted. Neither analytics service is loaded if you reject analytics.

Your analytics preference is saved in your browser. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings.

Retention and deletion

You can use /delete in the Telegram bot or contact support from your account email to remove your profile, watches and city interest. Limited billing and audit records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
